Raira Raisa and her family died in a fire, leaving only her son Saleem, Dovid's son. Saleem's wife, Mary Froder, died as well.
Saleem's sister Ami and her husband Ghalib Junaid moved in with him after the fire. He found comfort in the arms of other men''s wives, but missed his Mary terribly.
